The Knox Deacons are sponsoring our annual Baby Bottle Boomerang in support of Family Life Services. You can pick up your baby bottle(s) in the Atrium and fill with change, checks, or bills. Please return your filled baby bottles to the display table in the Atrium no later than Sunday, February 9th.
If you feel God calling you to help vulnerable children and families in our community, please join OAK (Orphan Care & Adoption at Knox) in learning more about Safe Families for Children.
The Deacons are looking for lightly used snow pants, boots, and hats/gloves that your children may have outgrown.
We heard from Friends in Deed about their support work in our community. Find out more about FID’s mission: Helping People in Need; Building Community to End Poverty.
Family Life Services needs a pick-up truck and driver to remove yard waste from their new facility, a van to move items for an upcoming Mom2Mom sale/event, and some web page design and support services.
Knox has a long history of partnering with Family Life Services, a pregnancy resource center for at-risk moms. FLS is looking for two childcare volunteers to watch a small group of children ages 7 months – 5 years from 9:45 AM-noon on Wednesday mornings while parents are in class.
