“Jesus did not write a book but formed a community.” – LESSLIE NEWBIGIN
Community is central to Christian faith. It’s where we live and experience the reality of the good news we preach. Community is central to our mission. We invite others to join us in experiencing the good news of Jesus. Wherever we are in our journey, he invites us into the community of faith: “Taste and see that the Lord is good.” We hear the words of grace, forgiveness, healing and redemption but we wonder, “Are they true and what do they look like as they intersect the broken lives, my life and yours?” Community is where we find the answer to those questions. And it is from that same community we go into the world to invite others to find what we have found with Jesus and his people.
We encourage you to consider being part of the grand adventure of following Jesus in community by joining Knox. Each fall and winter, we host a 12-week class where you can discover in more detail what it means to be part of a local church. Check out the class listings to see when the next class will occur. Attending does not commit you to membership, but it does allow you to learn about our beliefs, vision and life together so you can thoughtfully decide about church membership.
If you have questions about membership or the membership classes, please email the Knox Office. For information about upcoming membership classes, keep an eye on the website or Sunday bulletin for more information.
