Financial Giving

Having come to know God’s generosity in Jesus, we strive to follow Jesus together through our own generosity – with our time, our talents and our treasure. Your financial support allows Knox to provide a place of worship where people can learn and grow as followers of Jesus, connect in smaller group experiences, and reach out and serve the community, our country and the world.

Capital Campaign

We are praising God for His abundant provision through the members of our Knox family. In the fall of 2013 we officially kicked off the Knox Capital Campaign, Financial Freedom … Missional Freedom. Our goal was to retire the Knox mortgage.

The wonderful news is that in June 2016 we were able to make our final mortgage payment. PRAISE the LORD!

On behalf of the Knox Session, we express our deep appreciation for the generosity and faithful follow-through on commitments.  Because the Knox family has given regularly throughout the first 30 months of the campaign, we have retired the mortgage even before anticipated. This has saved Knox tens of thousands of dollars in interest.

Many in the Knox family already have fulfilled their commitments, and for this we are deeply grateful. But others still are in process. We encourage everyone to follow through on your intent through the end of the campaign, December 2016. All campaign funds received now will be deposited in a reserve account to be spent only on items identified in the Campaign Case Statement, giving us a head start on ministry and capital improvement projects. Session will communicate how these funds have been allocated, and we are planning a joyous Campaign Celebration following the end of the Campaign in January 2017.

As we eagerly anticipate the next phase of Knox life and ministry, we are blessed to be free of mortgage payments. Let’s pray that we will glorify God by continuing to minister effectively, in Ann Arbor and beyond.
