In Our World
“Mission is the overflow of your delight in God because mission is the overflow of God’s delight in being God.” – JOHN PIPER
“The Church exists by mission as fire exists by burning.” – EMIL BRUNNER

We aren’t God’s sent ones by our decision or preparation. We are God’s sent ones because we are “in Christ.” Being sent is not just a task but an identity. Jesus said, “As the Father sent me, so I send you.” Jesus, God’s unique Sent One, shares his identity with us. It’s in the joy of knowing who we are that we come to understand what we are to do. Since Jesus came from heaven for the sake of the world, we go out for the sake of the world, to the world. We encourage you to explore the different places around the world where God has called Knox to be involved in his mission to the nations.
