The Knox Men’s Ministry Wednesday Night Group is beginning a new weekly Bible study on September 29th, 6:45-8:30 PM. Please note that this study is open to ALL men of all ages, regardless of Church (or no Church) affiliation. Our goal is to learn from God’s Word and share and encourage each other in walking with The Lord.
We will be studying “Disciplines of a Godly Man” by R. Kent Hughes. This inspiring and best-selling book has long been speaking to the hearts of men, and its words continue to be highly relevant. Using biblical wisdom, engaging illustrations, practical suggestions for daily living, and personal study questions, Kent Hughes offers hard-hitting discussion on major areas of Christian manhood: marriage, fatherhood, friendship, purity, integrity, leadership, prayer, ministry, and more.
The sessions will consist of book discussion (short chapters to read each week), large and small group discussion, and prayer.
Location: Knox Harvest Room (lower level). Please note: we will be meeting in person at the church. We will wear masks per current Knox policy guidelines, and our format and policy could be subject to change, pending how the COVID pandemic evolves.
Cost: $25 covers cost of the book/study materials and refreshments (scholarships are available).
Facilitator: Lewis Clark
REGISTRATION in advance is preferred but not required (participants can register the first night).
