Starting the Climb…a weekend for dads with their sons as they approach adolescence. Fathers and sons, grades 5-6, are encouraged to set aside the weekend to connect in fun activities with other guys and their dads, intentional learning and father-son discussion on important subjects about the transition into manhood.

The weekend will be led by a team of Knox Dads.

Who:  5th or 6th grade boys and their fathers
When:  Friday-Saturday, April 25-26, 2019
Where:  FaHoLo Camp in Grass Lake

Registration:  Register online below or by printing and filling out the paper registration form in the brochure by March 25th.
Cost: $100 (for dad and son together, covering Friday night’s lodging, Friday supper, Saturday breakfast and lunch), scholarships available

Register online using the link. Participants will be meeting at the camp, so please indicate on the registration form if you are interested in carpooling with other sons and dads. We can help you get connected to share rides.

The retreat will start on Friday at 6:30 PM and end at 5:00 PM on Saturday before dinner, freeing you up to decide how best to use that time with your son before heading home.

If you would like to attend but need some financial assistance, scholarships are available. If interested, just complete and return the registration form indicating that assistance is needed. Registrations are due by March 25th.
