Treasured Possessions: Growing up as a Daughter of the King

Who:  5th or 6th grade girls and their mothers (or a close female adult friend or relative)
When:  Friday-Saturday, April 13-14, 2018
Where:  FaHoLo Camp in Grass Lake
To offer a biblical framework for moms and daughters as you enter a new phase of growing together in light of who God says you are.
To give mothers and their daughter(s) time to connect through fun activities and intentional learning and sharing time.
To provide solid information related to age sensitive issues from a variety of Christian sources and the experience of other moms and young adult women.
To create space for mothers and their daughters to build friendships with other girls and women.

Registration:  Register online or by printing and filling out the paper registration form by March 18.
Cost: $100 (for mother and daughter together, covering Friday night’s lodging, Friday supper, Saturday breakfast and lunch), scholarships available.

Participants will be meeting at the camp, so please indicate on the registration form if you are interested in carpooling with other mothers and daughters. We can help you get connected to share rides.

The retreat will start on Friday at 6:30 PM and end at 5:30 PM on Saturday before dinner.

If you would like to attend but need some financial assistance, scholarships are available. If interested, just complete and return the registration form indicating that assistance is needed.




“Fearfully and Wonderfully Made” a pre-retreat “Puberty Seminar” for 5th and 6th grade girls will be offered on Wednesday, April 4th, 7:00 PM in the Music Room at Knox.

A Christian pediatrician will help girls prepare for the physical and emotional changes that come during adolescence. All material will be presented from a Christian perspective. Daughters and mothers are encouraged to attend together. Even if you can’t make the retreat weekend, you’re welcome to join us for this informative and encouraging seminar.
