June 4th – Dexter Community Park (Dexter) (playground in Huron Farms near Busch’s)

Community Park is located on Ryan Drive and is open to the public. In the past few years, a walking path, gazebo, benches, basketball court, and other improvements have been made to this park.

 

 

 

June 11th – Ford Heritage Park (Ypsilanti)

Ford Heritage Park is found at 8399 Textile Road.  With an accessible playground, a roller slide, and a sway boat, Ford Heritage Park is fun for all.

 

 

(June 18th – Kids’ Camp at Knox, for registered children only; space is limited)

   

June 25th – Mill Pond Park (Saline)

Mill Pond Park amenities include open and wooded areas, nature trails, water access, the enormous ROMP (Recreate Our Mill Pond Park) play structure, picnic areas, etc. For those using MapQuest/Google maps or GPS for directions, use 565 W. Bennett Street, Saline, MI.

 

 July 2nd – Hunt Park (Ann Arbor)

Hunt Park has a playground, sand play area, bathrooms and small pavilion near grassy hills to enjoy the day!

 

 

 

July 9th – Mill Creek Park (Dexter)

Mill Creek Park, on the north side of Main Street, is a 2.15-acre park located behind the fire station and next to the Mill Creek. The ¼ mile pedestrian path leads visitors across the Mill Creek and through wetland habitat before exiting into the Westridge of Dexter neighborhood. A wooden stairway was constructed to provide access from the park up the steep hillside to connect to the Dexter District Library and the Farmer’s Market.

 

 

July 16th – Centennial Park at Gallup        

 With multiple playgrounds, walking trails, boating, and fishing you could easily spend several hours at Gallup Park. The new Rotary Club Centennial Playground at Gallup Park is a universal access playground right on the banks of the Huron River.

 

 

July 23rd – Marshview Park at Pittsfield Preserve (Saline)

Marsh View Meadows at Pittsfield Preserve offers two play areas, a pavilion, restrooms, and walking trails.

 

 

 

July 30th–  Lillie Park South (Ann Arbor)

Lillie Park has age-designated play structures and walking trails, and often has soccer fields set up.

 

 

 

 

August 6th –  Canton Splash Park

Located at the northwest corner of Canton Center Road and Summit Parkway. Heritage Park is next to the Summit on the Park (46000 Summit Parkway).  Splash park is free!

 

 

 

August 13th–  REVISIT Dexter Community Park (Dexter)
