Pastor Bryan joined Knox as senior pastor in September 2018. He preaches most Sundays and oversees all matters relating to the worship service. He leads the church’s governing body of elders and the staff in matters of vision, future direction, and present ministry.

Bryan is husband to Christy and father to Joshua and Noah. He grew up in Virginia and Tennessee before studying chemical engineering at Georgia Tech and Northwestern University. After deciding to pursue full time vocational ministry, he studied at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando and Fuller Theological Seminary. He has written two books, Longing for God in an Age of Discouragement: The Gospel According to Zechariah and Inconspicuous Providence: The Gospel According to Esther.

Pastor Josh has been part of the Knox staff since 2002, when he came on as a Youth Ministry Intern. In 2004 he became a Youth Ministry Associate, serving under Pastor Tom Robinson. In 2011 he became the Youth Ministry Director. After finishing seminary at RTS he served as the Assistant Pastor of Youth Ministry from 2017-2021. Today he is the Assistant Pastor of Ministry and Missions. Responsibilities include providing leadership and discipling the Knox family in our ministry and missions to one another, to the university, to the city, and to the world.

Josh was born in the bustling metropolis of Bluffton, Ohio (3,983 total residents). After graduating from Huntington University with a Youth Ministry degree, Josh married his beautiful wife Lisa. Josh, Lisa, and their kids Emma, Kate and Isaac enjoy spending time with family, friends, and being active outside. And they love seeing God move in the lives of others around them.
