“Blessing Baskets” for Staples Family Center
Sep 17, 2020
We're collecting items to bless residents of Staples Family Center who are moving into their own home. Would you purchase a few extra items and bring them to Knox by October 25th? Monetary donations are also welcome!

Getting a place to live after having no home is a blessing, but suddenly needing many household items is costly! Our Knox Deacons encourage us to bless those transitioning out of homelessness by partnering with Staples Center to send clients off with “Blessing Baskets”.

Staples Center in Ann Arbor is a ministry of the Salvation Army, a long-time Knox Community Partner. Staples is unique in that it offers short-term shelter for families and individuals in an environment that is much like a traditional home.

So, please purchase a few extra items when you shop this month and drop them off under the canopy at Knox in the upper parking lot. Supplies will be collected throughout the month of October. Monetary donations are also welcome!  Cash is fine or check (make payable to Salvation Army Staples Center). Place your donation in the designated box at the Blessings Basket table.
