November 29, 2015 ”The God of Promise” is part 1 in the series on Advent Preparation: The Christmas Story.
Luke 1:5-25 shows that we have a God of Promise…He is a promise keeper!!! That is great news in light of so many broken promises all around us, especially in this coming election year…
In this passage we see 3 truths in light of this God of Promise:
- Live a faithful life before God—no matter what, Luke 1:5-7
- God does answer prayers—in His time and in His ways, Luke 1:8-17
- Take God at His Word—He will always come through, Luke 1:18-25
