Sunday at Knox

It can take time to feel comfortable in a church’s building and worship service. The information below is to help you know what to expect when you walk through our doors!

WORSHIP

9:30-10:45am

Sunday gathering is the primary way we gather to worship God together, learn from Scripture, and create space for one another. All are welcome.

Worship in Sanctuary

Our worship and music blend contemporary and traditional elements.

Children’s worship is available for kids from PreK – 2nd grade on Sunday. Kids have opportunities to experience large group worship, Bible stories, and interactive small groups.

This is not encouraged as an alternative to participation in the corporate worship service but rather as an augmentation to worshipping with the rest of us – because we also believe it’s important for children to be worshipping alongside their parents.

Nursery

We provide a nursery for ages 0-3 years old. Please stop by the nursery wing and we will be happy to check your child in and answer any questions you have!

Children's Worship

We offer Children’s Worship for Pre-K through 1st grade during our 9:30 AM worship service. Children start out with their families in the worship service in the sanctuary, then those who would like to attend Children’s Worship are invited to do so midway through the service, right before the sermon.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION (CE)

11:15-12:15pm

All CEs (Adult, Children and Youth) meet after the morning service. It is a way for us come together to learn and apply God’s Word in more intimate settings. No classes during summer season.

Adult

From theology to world religions, Biblical studies to work & faith, from parenting to cultural engagement, different Adult’s CE classes are offered at different seasons. See the current listing here.

Nursery

During CE hours, we also provide a nursery for ages 0-3 years old. Please stop by the nursery wing.

Children (PreK to 6th)

Children meet on Sundays during the school year, at the children’s wing, downstairs from the sanctuary.

Youth (7th-12th)

During the school year, youth meets every Sunday. You can find them at the Turning Point room, downstairs from the sanctuary.

COFFEE & TEA

There is fresh coffee and tea available for you as you enter our doors. Feel free to enjoy a cup before and after the worship service.

PARKING

Newcomers and anyone with a current need are welcome to use the designated parking spaces on the upper and lower level. There are plenty of parking spaces for everyone.
