Youth Ministry

Teenagers are in an important time of facing challenges and building identity. At Knox, teenagers are invited to ask serious questions of the Bible, the nature of Christian community, and how to live with a solid foundation in a world that is constantly changing.

In our multigenerational church body, they will also be invited to experience community with peers and mentors and to serve their church and wider community.

At Knox, we believe that families, Youth Ministry volunteers, and our elders are all partners in introducing our kids to Jesus.

  • Teens benefit from talking to trusted adults about faith and life.

  • Christian community gives us a safe place to grow and investigate questions curiously.

  • Bible reading and prayer are spiritual formation practices that help us navigate our teen years and all of life.

Fall Small Group Retreat

Small Groups meet throughout the high school experience. They consist of same-gender peers led by 2 same-gender adults who will walk with their students through high school. This unique program creates strong relationships with our youth and an opportunity to go deep in their emerging faith. Each fall, we have a Small group retreat that builds on these important and ongoing relationships.

Retreats

Youth can participate in Jesus’ call to serve others in their local community. They’ll join ministry partners to learn about and practice the work that God is doing in the world by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of others.

Summer Serve

Youth retreats are designed to remove the distractions of everyday life so that students can be focused on seeking God in an intentional way. Retreats are awesome opportunities for students to grow closer to one another and to grow closer with Jesus.
