Interim Coordinator of Community and Connections

David Brown has been a pastor for many years and recently served as stated clerk of the Midwest Presbytery. He went to Wheaton College and University of Michigan before going to seminary.

Brown’s ministry in the church has taken many forms, including international, university, Metro Detroit, and Siberia. He has launched and supported small group ministries in every church where he has served.

David has been married to his wife Marsha for 52 years, and has four kids, 14 grandkids, 1 great granddaughter. Something not all Knox members may know about Dave is that he and his wife moved to Detroit so they could make friends with people on their block and help out in tutoring ministries and work projects in the city.

One thing he loves about Knox is the talent and spiritual maturity of many people in ministry.
